Here’s a link to a seminar that took place at Napier University at the end of last year.
It’s an excellent insight into the government’s focus on BIM, and gives a good insight on their expectation for BIM.
The seminar is given by David Philp, Head of BIM Implementation, Cabinet Office Whitehall.
David is a Site Engineer who studied at Stirling University & was also director of technical services at Balfour Beatty, and is now their BIM programme director.
There are lots of interesting points he makes about BIM and where he sees BIM in design and construction.
